An elipse-shaped pendant, made from ox-bone is suspended from a durable black cord. The pendant bears a famous mantra in Tibetan which advocates hope and positivity - 'Om Mani Padme Hum'. The six characters which form this mantra are cut from bronze-leaf and are set onto the ox-bone. The pendant is gilded with the same bronze colour. This bronze gilding, combined with the streaks of red dye that pattern the ox-bone, creates a bold and striking piece of jewellery. On the reverse of the pendant is the Tibetan "coil of joy".
