The pendant of this necklace is a prayer wheel made from Tibetan silver. The prayer wheel necklace is based upon the design of large Tibetan prayer wheels. It bears the matra "Om Mani Padme Hum". Spinning the prayer wheel is considered to have twice the power of orating the mantra. Hence a prayer wheel is considered to be good luck.

A small pin hangs from the prayer wheel. At the end of this pin is a 'bell' made from turquoise. In Tibetan culture turquoise is a symbol of heaven. In fact, Tibetan's do not even consider a turquoise a stone as they believe it is a piece of heaven itself. The prayer wheel pendant is suspended from a necklace of durable black cord.
