A Mochishop pale-green jade pendant featuring an exquisitely hand-crafted Laughing Buddha relief. In Oriental tradition the Laughing Buddha is the future successor of Guatama Buddha. He is famed as a benevolent character with a happy disposition. He is the symbol of prosperity and abundance. It is said that if you rub the Laughing Buddha's belly you will have good fortune bestowed upon you.

The necklace is strung upon four tough brown cotton cords which are threaded through a hollow drum of Tibetan silver. The Laughing Buddha is suspended from this Tibetan silver drum.
