Our Collection of Your Information:
(i) Data that we collect
a) Cookies: When you browse Mochishop we use cookies to store certain information such as your session information (items you have placed in your shopping bag or to verify that users are logged in, for example). This is simply to make your use of our site easier. If you wish to restrict cookies, you can alter your cookie settings in your browser. Please note that if you restrict cookies, you may not be able to use parts of the Mochishop site.
b) Analytics: We may use analytical software on this site to gather non personally-identifiable information such as what browsers our customers are using, IP address, aggregated data etc. This data is used solely for Mochishop to study and improve the performance of its services.
(ii) Data that you submit
To make a purchase from Mochishop, you will need to create an account with us. You are required to decide a username and password for your account. Your password is encrypted and completely invisible to Mochishop's staff and administrators.
Further details we need collect to create your account include: Your full name, email address, your billing address and, if different to your billing address, your shipping address. Mochishop will never pass this information on to any third party. We shall keep it securely on our system.
If you are paying online by credit card or debit card, you will be required to enter your credit / debit card information at checkout. Whenever you make an electronic payment (i.e., checkout) on our website, your data is encrypted by a 128Kbit Secure Server. You can identify a secure checkout by either a padlock icon in the bottom right corner of your browser and by the https:// in the address bar. The ‘s’ in https denotes that the web page you are using is secure.
Your credit / debit card information remains invisible to us except when you make a payment over the telephone (or in the unlikely event of our payment processor failing and having to take credit / debit card payments manually). In such cases, we delete and destroy your payment information immediately after debiting your account.
Our Use of Your Information:
We do not pass your information on to third parties.
We use your email address to confirm the stages of your order (e.g., payment received, payment cleared, order shipped etc). We may contact you by email or by phone in the event that there is a problem with your order (for example, if your credit card details have been declined). We will not use your contact information to send you unsolicited commercial email. Mochishop is vehemently opposed to spam.
Your name and address information is securely stored on our server. This is simply to make your life easier the next time you shop with us. When you return to Mochishop and login to your account, your data will already be present, saving you from having to type it all out again. (NB. If you wish for this data to be removed from our servers, please contact us with your request.)
If you send us any paper documentation that contain your personal details (e.g., an envelope with your return address on it) we shall shred it once the relevant information has been processed.
All data is used lawfully in strict compliance with the UK Data Protection Act 1998.
Newsletters:
When you subscribe for a Mochishop newsletter you are issuing your consent for us to send you emails about Mochishop's products, services and offers. These emails will be occassional. Usually monthly. Fortnightly at the very most.
You can unsubscribe at any time you wish.

If we are required by law to disclose your information, we may do so.
